These terms govern your use of simplebuildplans.com (the “Site”), operated by Simple Build Plans. By using the Site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. Contact: hello@simplebuildplans.com.

What this site is

The Site is an informational affiliate / advertorial page. We describe beginner woodworking plans — especially a backyard shed and a garage or workshop workbench — and we link to a third-party digital product sold through ClickBank. We do not write every plan in the library, we do not host the downloadable files, and we do not process your payment.

Affiliate relationship

Some links on the Site are sponsored affiliate links. If you buy through those links, Simple Build Plans may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That relationship is disclosed on the homepage and in the footer. Sponsored links open a new tab and are marked in the page source with a sponsored relationship.

We do not sell the plans

When you click through to buy, you leave our Site. ClickBank checkout and the seller’s terms, refund policy, and license govern that purchase, including price (shown at checkout), delivery of files, and any members-area access. Disputes about payment, downloads, or refunds must be taken up with ClickBank and the seller. We cannot issue a refund or reset a download.

No warranty on builds

Plans are educational. Wood, tools, weather, soil, and skill vary. We do not warrant that any project will be square, weather-tight, load-bearing, or fit for a particular purpose. We are not on site with you. You are responsible for how you cut, fasten, and use what you build.

Safety

Power tools can injure or kill. Use eye and ear protection, follow the tool maker’s instructions, and do not work tired or untrained. The Site is not a safety course. If a step looks unsafe, stop.

Building codes and permits

A backyard shed often needs a permit, inspections, setbacks, or HOA approval. Local codes differ. The plans and this Site are not a substitute for a licensed designer, engineer, or building official. Check with your city or county before you buy materials, pour a pad, or raise walls. You are responsible for compliance.

Intellectual property

The text and layout of this Site belong to Simple Build Plans except for third-party photographs (credited to Unsplash where used) and the plans product itself, which belongs to its seller. You may not copy this Site’s copy to run a competing affiliate page. Purchasing plans does not transfer copyright in those plans beyond whatever license the seller grants at checkout.

Limitation of liability

The Site is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, Simple Build Plans is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or property damage arising from use of the Site, from clicking affiliate links, or from any project you build. Our total liability for claims relating to the Site will not exceed fifty U.S. dollars ($50) or the amount of commission we actually received from your purchase, whichever is greater. Some states do not allow certain limits; in those states our liability is limited to the maximum permitted.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Simple Build Plans against claims that arise from your misuse of the Site, your build, or your failure to obtain permits or use tools safely, except to the extent a claim is caused by our own willful misconduct.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts of competent jurisdiction in the United States will hear disputes that cannot be resolved informally, except where applicable law requires otherwise. We do not name a specific county here because we do not publish a street address.

Changes

We may change the Site or these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms. The date at the top is the current version.
