This policy describes how Simple Build Plans (“we,” “us”) handles information on simplebuildplans.com. We operate a small affiliate website. We are not the seller of the woodworking plans, and we do not have a storefront of our own. Contact: hello@simplebuildplans.com.
Who is responsible
For this website, Simple Build Plans is the operator. We have not formed a separate company name for this site, and we do not list a public street address. If you buy plans, ClickBank and the product seller are separate organizations. They are independent controllers of the information you give them at checkout. Their privacy notices apply to that purchase.
What we collect
- Server and security logs. This site is meant to be served as static files (for example via Cloudflare Pages). Cloudflare and similar hosts typically record technical data such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, and timestamps to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and keep the network up. We do not run our own customer database.
- Email you send us. If you write to hello@simplebuildplans.com, we receive whatever you put in that message (your address, name if you sign it, and the body). We use it to reply. We do not add you to a newsletter unless you ask.
- We do not ask you to create an account on this site. We do not collect payment card numbers. Payments, if you buy, happen on ClickBank.
Cookies and similar tools
This website does not set its own advertising or analytics cookies. We prefer none beyond what the host needs. Cloudflare may set a cookie or similar signal for security and performance (for example to distinguish people from bots). We do not use a cookie banner because we are not dropping marketing cookies from this domain.
If you follow a selling link to ClickBank, that site and the seller may use their own cookies, pixels, or tracking so they can attribute a sale and run checkout. That is their processing, not ours. You can review their policies at checkout and in your browser settings.
How we use information
Technical logs: to operate, secure, and debug the site. Email: to answer you. Affiliate links: when you click a sponsored link, ClickBank may note that the visit came via our referral so they can pay a commission if you buy. We do not receive your full checkout details as a matter of course.
We do not sell personal information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not rent email lists. California residents (and residents of other U.S. states with similar laws) can treat this as our statement that we do not “sell” or “share” personal information as those laws use the terms, for data we actually control on this site.
ClickBank and the seller
Checkout, downloads, receipts, and refunds are handled by ClickBank and the seller. They decide what to collect (billing name, email, payment method, and so on). Direct questions about that data to them. We cannot pull your order out of their system.
How long we keep things
Host logs follow the host’s retention. Emails you send us are kept as long as needed to answer and for a reasonable record of the conversation, then deleted in the ordinary course. We do not run a marketing list from this site.
Security and children
No website is perfectly secure. Do not send passwords or payment card numbers to our email. This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Your choices
You can refuse cookies in your browser (the site is static text and images; it should still read). You can email us to ask what we have from your correspondence and to request that we delete that email thread. For ClickBank or seller data, contact them. If you are in California or another state with consumer privacy rights, you may also email us to make an access, deletion, or correction request about information we hold. We will need enough detail to find your message; we do not have a user-ID system.
